Easter Egg Hunts

We coordinated so that Tavin would ahve Gavin and Dylan to be hus buddies for the community Easter Egg Hunt that was help the Saturday before Easter.  Of course, we also had to hold our own Easter afternoon hunts at home, and this year we used real eggs!!!  Kimber doesn't appear in these pictures.  OOOOPS!  However, she is well-represented in the Easter videos.  I promise she was there!

These first pictures are taken at the area for 3-4 year old children.  Tavin, Gavin and Dylan had fun picking up eggs and prizes.  Kevin and I had both coached the kids about the eggs...we wanted the super prizes hidden in a few of them.

After the egg hunt, we had some fun going through the eggs and looking for goodies.  Kaylee could be seen protecting her stash!  Pretty soon someone started blowing bubbles and away they ran - all of them.  The kids had fun chasing bubbles while the big people watched.

Tavin actually won a prize in one of his eggs,  The result was Doodle Bunny, who found a place of honor in Tavin's bed with Bolt the Dog.

On Saturday afternoon, in between conference sessions, we decorated eggs in preparation for Easter Sunday.  Here are a couple of shots of our fun.

Sunday afternoon, after conference, we had lots of fun in the backyard,  The kids couldn't wait to get started.  Nibbles even joined the action and seemed to have fun  running all over the yard while we searched.  Kaylee must have been tired by the end because she turned into quite the competitive participant.  We have actually nicknamed her "The Beast" after the day's activities.
