July 26-29, 2011 brought us to a fun vacation in Buena Park, California. It is about an hour from where we live in Temecula and yet we had never been there. So, off we went to visit Knotts Berry Farm - amusement park and water park. We also went to Medieval Times, which is a fun dinner theater with jousting, knights, royalty and an evil villain.
Kevin is just CRAZY at an amusement park - if you leave him in the kiddie section :) We love him and we're glad he doesn't have a constant need to risk his safety.

We rode the yellow slides and the black slides and LOVED them!
This was the bigger kiddie water slide area in the center. Tavin got to where he would try all of these.
The bucket would dump at regular time intervals and the kids thought that was great - I just thought it was COLD!
This is the center of the little kiddie section and it took us a while to get Tavin to go anywhere else. It was cute and fun, but the lazy river was the key to getting Tavin to try things. Thank you, lazy river!!!
These were awesome and Tavin was big enough to ride them with a buddy on the double tubes. I was his buddy of choice and it was fun to help him feel like a big, brave water slide rider...
Hee Hee! We called it the "toilet bowl". Kimber was ALMOST big enough, so we tried and got lucky on our first try. I wish I could explain how high we went up as we slid around the funnel. It was great - the only yucky part was hauling the gigantic tube up the many stairs to the top. Poor Kaylee and I basically did it on our own. Tori and Kimber tried to help.

The kids loved our hotel. It had an interior courtyard that surrounded the pool. Tori is giving us the tour.

Hmmm...scary is the only description I can muster...
This was one of the creepiest rides I have ever wayched before riding. It was a huge "car" that basically came STRAIGHT down and looked like it came off its slide at one point in the ride.
We waitied FOREVER for this stage coach ride. Kevin came and took Tavin to do it while I took the girls to ride one of the biggest roller coasters we hadn't had a chance to ride right before we left to go home.
