Kaylee had her braces taken off today!! Complete and total excitement in the life of this 7th grader. And she looks great!

Nativity Festival 2012

This is the best gig around. I direct a group of 120 fantastic kids in a show I design and choreograph. They work hard to do what I teach them and then we get to have so much fun sharing it with other people. Seriously, best gig around. Add to the mix that my own children are part of the performing group and it really can't get any better. Tori was in 5th grade for this performance.

Singing Camp

Kimber participated in a singing camp which was run by one of Kaylee's good friends, Shelby. She got to sing and dance with other girls for 2 hours each day during one week. They put on a cute show at the end. Emily also went to singing camp and was like Kimber's big sister while she was gone. Kimber and Kevin Tammy, Tavin, Kaylee, Kimber and Tori Tori was very proud of her little sister and wanted to have her own picture with her...Tavin didn't quite get that concept.

Breaking Dawn Part 2

11/16/2012 Girls' nights at the movies are so much fun. We could probably have long debates about the literary value (or lack thereof) attached to the Twilight books, but getting a group of ladies together to sit in line for a midnight movie is great fun. I really shouldn't love it so much, but I love everything about the experience. I love the waiting in line. I love the people watching. I love navigating the crowd to get good spots in the theater. I love popcorn and soda in the middle of the night. I love being with fun friends. The funny part is that the movie is the least important part.
