Basketball 2011-2012

We love basketball in this bousehold! SO...of course they all need to learn how to play the game. Kaylee and Tori are old enough that their leagues are only female. Kimber began playing for the first time and was on a co-ed team. The funny thing is that she was the ONLY girl on the team. She never skipped a beat or had an issues. She is spunky and so much fun! Kaylee, Tori and Kimber all had fun and learned a great deal.

We loved all of the basketball games, but sometimes we found some funny things going on with the spectators as well. Kimber had a fun time with Kevin this particular day. This particular day, Kimber also learned a powerful lesson about prayer. She dropped the hat for her doll (the one on Kevin's head) in the parking lot and didn't realize it. When we got home, she figured it out and was very upset. She said a prayer and we hurried back to the school. We looked everywhere and then asked someone if they had seen it. That person had seen it in a little section of the parking lot. There was no coincidence about who we asked or that she had seen it. Kimber's sincere prayer was answered by a loving Heavenly Father. I was grateful to be with her to experience this blessing.
