This is a quilt we made for Emily Bishop for Christmas. We loved the colors and making it and we loved that Emily was excited about the gift.
Our 2011 Gingerbread houses
FINALLY, Tavin's stocking now has his name on it. It only took 5 years :)
Santa brought 4 plasma cars for the kids. It was fun to see them enjoy them in the house before we ever even took them to the park for races. Some of them are sporting other hats, etc. they also received for Christmas.
The pictures below capture a few of my favorite gift-opening expressions. It doesn't matter what was inside each package. Their looks show the joy of realizing that someone in their family loves them and knows them well enough to choose a gift that would make them happy. The hugs following the looks are even better than the initial looks.
I'm not sure how genuinely excited Kevin ever is over his yearly sock supply :) but I know the cards and gifts from our children bring tears to both our eyes.
Merry Christmas!
